Ah, this weekend has so much in store! I don't know how I'll accomplish anything!
First of all, I really should finish all of my homework. That would be nice... >_>;;
Well, what I really want to do right now is cut out the pattern and fabric for my little brother's Syaoran cloak. (He's doing Syaoran from CLAMP's Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles.) We've had the fabric and pattern for months now, (before I got into Hetalia, I believe, so that would place it before July) and we still haven't done anything to it. I've never worked with cloth before, so I've really afraid that'll I totally screw this up!
On Sunday, I want to bake some more cupcakes. This time, I'm going to do the Nordics! I'm not sure what the rest of the cupcakes will be, but I'm definitely doing the Nordics this time around! I just hope I have enough time to do it on Sunday...
I need to draw up some icons for my RP character, Guangdong (
eastern_expanse), over at
universalaphdr... I've got, like, one icon done, and it's not even uploaded. I'm totally good at this! (Does it sound like I'm channeling Poland, or something?)
Since I may be going to the Gasukan on the 24th, (it coincides with World Hetalia Day!) I'll need to find some fake blood and vampire teeth, or something like that.
itakoyaki and
lanekana put the idea in my head. Vampire!Spain vants to sahk your... Romano TOMATO!!!! XD
Well, in other news, that latest episode of Umineko was awesome. I don't follow the visual novel currently, as I'm waiting to buy it, so I've been extra cautious to avoid any really big spoilers. So I totally had no idea how that myth battle between Virgilia and Beatrice was going to end. Gee, Beatrice has reached a whole new level of brutal! But that foamy blood that came out of her mouth... That seemed really weird. It also seemed kind of strange how they rushed the part with Eva finding the Key to the Golden Land. It couldn't have been that easy!
Anyways, that should be about all I have to rant about. Oh, and I'm drawly a comic for the school newspaper, because I am obviously some sort of Renaissance Man who can not only write but also draw quite splendidly. /sarcasm
I took an obvious page out of Himaruya's book and anthropomorphized the school (Ingraham-kun) into a character that bears a resemblance to Italy that makes me very uncomfortable. Plus, the anthropomorphized school district (lovingly referred to by me as Admin-kun) looks like a cross between Sweden and Switzerland. Gack, I suck at this. I just want to make it known that I was not the one who came up with the idea to do the comic like this, not necessarily, anyways. The teacher said "Do, like, some sort of superhero or something that represents the school." And then it clicked. I feel ashamed. Once the paper comes out some time before Halloween, I'll post the comic up so you can see my Himaruya-sensei fail. I even copied his shading style because I admire it so much. D:
Woops, looks like I wrote an entire other paragraph. Okay, this time, I really am signing off. See you all soon~

Date: 2009-10-05 05:55 am (UTC)IT WOULD BE EPIC. Umm... Someone should put a post about it on the Hetalia comm. You should tell your meetup buddies too!

Date: 2009-10-05 05:58 am (UTC)Also, it'd be kinda weird to have a whole bunch of Hetalia cosplayers show up suddenly, wouldn't it? XD
Well, do you think we should try anyways?

Date: 2009-10-05 12:31 am (UTC)I so hope I can get together what few things I'll need to be a Vampire Spain! Then, if lanekana is able to go as Romano, we could do some creepy photos... Kihihihi... Of course, we would put the pictures up for all to see. XP
I just realized that I need to knee-attack people as Spain.

Date: 2009-10-05 12:47 am (UTC)I've been putting it off all weekend and now I'm like, totally lost on what I'm actually supposed to be doing in English.
And I have to read a lot for history.
Thankfully PreCal is all optional and it's review for me, so I don't have to worry about it.

Vampire Spain and Romano!
Ohmigosh.
Wow.
I think you may have [finally] converted me to [yet] another pairing...

Date: 2009-10-05 01:31 am (UTC)Then answer some questions related to As I Lay Dying...
And then a fun little project for French...
Shiet, I should get to work... DX
Now I'm just imagining Spain's populous being full of vampires eloping with Southern Italians... Gee, the things Hetalia does. XD

Date: 2009-10-05 01:47 am (UTC)They're the only things I'm actually rather good at when it comes to math.
I gave up on my English homework and figured writing down some notes will get me through discussion time [instead of doing the assignment itself...]
Aaand I'm halfway through History, so now I'm just stalling.
I hear a lot of vampire myths coming from those "romantic" countries [Spain, France, Italy, etc.]
Which reminds me, I need to finish my Anne Rice novels...
